10" Aluminum Wheels — Where Competitors Ship Steel
Every competing HHH Pony 50 listing ships with steel rims. The Maui 50 ships standard with 10-inch aluminum wheels. Aluminum construction reduces unsprung weight, directly improving ride quality on city surfaces and giving the Maui more responsive handling than steel-rim competitors at the same price.
Dual-Start: Electric Push-Button + Kick-Start Backup
The Maui's electric push-button start and kick-start backup operate completely independently. A low starter battery doesn't leave you stranded — the kick-start handles it. Both start systems are standard — not an optional add-on.
85% Pre-Assembled — Under 60 Minutes to Ride
Factory assembly covers the frame, engine, wiring harness, and drivetrain. What you complete: front wheel, mirrors, front fender, front panel, battery connection, rear trunk, and exhaust bolts. Approximately 45–60 minutes with basic hand tools.
Six Colors in a Step-Through Frame
Black, Blue, Red, Orange, Pink, and White — six color choices where most 50cc competitors offer two or three. The step-through open frame makes mounting and dismounting straightforward for a wide range of riders. The included lockable rear trunk adds practical cargo capacity.

The X-PRO Maui 50 is built for adult riders who need a practical, affordable, and street-legal 50cc moped for daily commuting and errands. Whether you're covering campus, navigating city neighborhoods, or running short-distance errands, the Maui's step-through frame, automatic CVT transmission, and dual-start system make it easy to pick up and ride.
Riders 5'0" to 6'2" (152–188 cm) will find the 29.9-inch seat height accessible for a wide range of inseams. The 330 lb maximum load capacity exceeds the 225 lb limit found on most competing HHH Pony 50 models, accommodating more riders and gear.
Riders under age 16. Riders without a valid driver's license. Off-road, trail, or unpaved terrain use — this vehicle is for on-road use only.

Description
Product Overview
We built the X-PRO Maui for adult riders who want a practical, street-legal 50cc moped that doesn't compromise on build quality at this price. The Maui runs on a 49.5cc XinBa 4-stroke air-cooled engine with CVT automatic transmission — no clutch to manage, no gears to shift. It's EPA, CARB, and DOT certified, making it street-legal in all 50 U.S. states out of the box. At $869.95, it competes directly against the HHH/Pony 50 — but it ships with 10-inch aluminum wheels where the competition ships with steel.
What Makes It Different
The aluminum wheel upgrade is the most immediate difference a rider notices. Aluminum's lighter unsprung weight translates directly to a smoother response over city pavement — fewer vibrations transmitted through the frame, better cornering feedback, and a sharper overall feel compared to the dead weight of steel rims. It's a spec you typically pay more to get.
Engine & Performance
The dual-start system — electric push-button plus kick-start backup — means you're never left stranded. Both systems work independently. The front disc brake gives confident stopping power for city riding; the rear drum provides smooth, controlled deceleration. At 330 lb maximum load capacity, the Maui supports a wider range of adult riders than many competitors rated at 220–225 lb. The lockable rear trunk is included standard — no add-ons, no separate purchase.
Street Legal in All 50 States
Available in six colors: Black, Blue, Red, Orange, Pink, and White. The step-through frame makes mounting and dismounting fast and comfortable for daily commuting.
Brand & After-Sales Support
The Maui is street-legal with EPA, CARB, and DOT certification. A valid driver's license is required to operate this vehicle on public roads — requirements vary by state. In most U.S. states, a standard Class M or moped endorsement is required. This vehicle is not designed for highway use; check local speed limit regulations before riding on any road. Riders in California: this vehicle is CARB certified and street-legal for use in California.

Before You Buy
1 · Stay Connected — We Need to Reach You
After your order ships, our team will contact you by phone and email to coordinate delivery. Answer calls from unfamiliar numbers — our team and your carrier may call from numbers you don't recognize. Check your email daily, including your spam folder, until your vehicle arrives. Without a valid, reachable contact number, your carrier cannot complete delivery. If we cannot reach you, your order may be returned at your expense.
2 · Shipping & Delivery — LTL Freight
Your vehicle ships via LTL (Less-than-Truckload) freight from our U.S. warehouse. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment — make sure your contact information is current. Large freight trucks cannot enter narrow roads or tight residential areas. You must meet the driver at an accessible point, or arrange terminal pickup if needed. Inspect the vehicle carefully before signing the delivery receipt. If damage is found, note it on the receipt and contact us immediately with photos.
3 · Assembly & Setup
Professional mechanic assembly is highly recommended. Improper DIY assembly voids safety guarantees and can lead to mechanical failure — incorrect assembly is one of the leading causes of early issues with new vehicles. Regardless of who assembles it, you must tighten all bolts and apply thread-locker (Loctite) before the first ride. Vibration will loosen factory settings during use, causing parts to fall off or break. This is a required pre-ride step, not a defect.
4 · Engine Maintenance — Gas Models
Change the engine oil before your first ride — factory fill is a break-in oil not suitable for extended use. Skipping this step is the leading cause of engine seizure on new vehicles. Use fresh 87+ octane fuel only. Do not use high-pressure washers near engine or electrical components. Drain fuel for long-term storage. Store in a dry area.
5 · Real-World Performance
Top speed and power output are measured under optimal lab conditions. Actual performance varies based on rider weight, terrain type, road conditions, and ambient temperature. Fuel quality also affects performance — always use 87+ octane fresh gasoline. Riders above 200 lb may notice a reduction in top speed. Do not expect maximum rated performance in all real-world riding conditions.
6 · Storage
For long-term storage (30 days or more), drain the fuel tank and run the carburetor dry — do not store with old fuel as it will gum the carburetor and jets. Disconnect the 12V starter battery if storing for more than 60 days to prevent discharge. Store the vehicle indoors in a dry, temperature-stable environment, covered to protect from dust. Before returning to service after extended storage, inspect all bolts, tire pressure, brake function, and battery charge level.
7 · Safety & Rider Requirements
This vehicle is designed for riders age 16 and older. A valid driver's license is required to operate this vehicle on public roads — requirements vary by state. Most states require a Class M license or moped endorsement. Always wear a properly fitted, approved helmet and appropriate protective gear — helmet is not included. Maximum weight capacity must not be exceeded. This is a street-legal vehicle; always comply with local traffic laws and posted speed limits. Not designed for highway use unless local regulations permit.
8 · Break-in Period
We recommend a break-in period for the first 3–5 hours of riding. During this period, avoid sustained full-throttle operation and vary your speed to allow the engine and drivetrain components to seat properly. After break-in, perform an oil change and re-inspect and re-tighten all bolts. A properly completed break-in reduces early wear and extends the vehicle's service life.
