10" Aluminum Alloy Wheels

Comp. A listings consistently ship with steel rims. The Bali 150 ships standard with 10-inch aluminum alloy wheels. Aluminum construction reduces unsprung weight — the weight not supported by suspension — which directly improves ride quality on city surfaces and gives the Bali more responsive handling than steel-rim competitors at this price point.

A genuine material upgrade, not cosmetic. Competing 150cc models at this price don't offer aluminum wheels.
47 MPH — Real City Speed

47 MPH — Real City Speed

The 150cc 4-stroke engine produces 8.16 HP and reaches 47 MPH with CVT automatic transmission — no clutch, no gear changes. Competing 50cc mopeds cap at 30–35 MPH, making the Bali 150 significantly more capable for 35–45 MPH suburban roads and urban arterials. Electric push-button start with independent kick-start backup — a dead battery won't leave you stranded.

City and suburban streets at posted speeds. Kick-start backup means one start system is always available.
330 lb Maximum Load Capacity

330 lb Maximum Load Capacity

The Bali 150 supports a 330 lb maximum load — exceeding the approximately 270 lb limit on competing Comp. A models by a meaningful margin. The 34.2-inch leatherette padded seat accommodates a wider range of adult body types than most 150cc mopeds at this price point.

More riders qualify for this bike. Competing models at similar price points cap lower.
Hydraulic Disc Brake + Safety Package

Hydraulic Disc Brake + Safety Package

Hydraulic front disc brake — self-adjusting, more progressive braking, less heat fade than mechanical disc alternatives on competing models. Complete street-legal safety package: headlight, LED tail light, turn signals, horn, kill switch, and speedometer. EPA & DOT certified for street use in 48 states.

Better stopping feel, less maintenance, and full lighting included standard — not as an add-on.

Rider Fit Guide

Bali 150 Rider Fit Guide
Recommended Age 16 and older (motorcycle license or endorsement required in most states)
Recommended Height 5'0" to 6'2" (152–188 cm)
Maximum Weight Capacity 330 lb (approx. 150 kg)
Suitable Riding Environments City streets, suburban roads, campus areas — on-road street-legal use in 48 states (not CA)

The X-PRO Bali 150 is designed for adult riders who want a capable, practical, and street-legal 150cc moped for daily commuting on city streets and suburban roads. Riders 5'0" to 6'2" (152–188 cm) will find the 34.2-inch seat height accommodating for a wide range of inseams. The 330 lb maximum load capacity exceeds the approximately 270 lb limit on competing Comp. A models, giving more room for adult riders and gear.

Not Recommended For:

Riders under age 16. California residents (Bali 150 is not CARB certified). Off-road or trail use. Highway speeds.

A valid driver's license is required for public road operation — most states require a Class M license or motorcycle endorsement. Helmet and protective gear required — not included. NOT for California (not CARB certified).

Key Features
10" Aluminum Alloy Wheels: Stronger, Lighter, and Better-Riding Than Steel — We upgraded the Bali 150 with 10-inch aluminum alloy wheels where competing Comp. A mopeds ship standard with steel rims. Aluminum reduces unsprung weight — the part of the frame not cushioned by suspension — which directly translates to smoother ride quality over city pavement, sharper acceleration response, and improved corrosion resistance over years of street riding. Steel rims are the competitor's standard. The Bali ships aluminum as standard.
Fully Automatic CVT: Twist the Throttle, Start Moving — The Bali 150 runs a belt-driven CVT automatic transmission. No clutch to pull, no gears to shift. Twist and go. The 150cc air-cooled engine produces 8.16 HP and reaches 47 MPH — enough to keep pace with city traffic and suburban roads within posted speed limits. For first-time scooter riders and daily commuters, the CVT makes every ride straightforward from the first day.
Hydraulic Front Disc Brake + Complete Street-Legal Safety Package: We equipped the Bali with a hydraulic front disc brake for confident, modulated stopping power at street speeds — not the mechanical disc or drum-only systems found on competing models. Combined with a rear drum brake and a full safety package (headlight, LED tail light, turn signals, horn, kill switch, and speedometer), the Bali meets everything required for EPA- and DOT-compliant street operation in 48 states.
330 lb Maximum Load: Built for Real Adults of All Builds — The Bali 150 supports up to 330 lb maximum load capacity — compared to approximately 270 lb on competing Comp. A mopeds. The wide, padded leatherette seat sits at 34.2 inches, comfortably accommodating adult riders from 5'0" to 6'2". Larger adults who find themselves at the edge of competitor weight limits have a capable, properly sized option in the Bali 150.
Reliable U.S. Support, Ready Parts: As a licensed U.S. motorcycle dealer with 20+ years in business, two company-operated warehouses in California and Texas, and a dedicated local team, we keep full replacement parts in stock and ready to ship — so help is there when you need it.
Description

We built the X-PRO Bali 150 for adult riders who want a capable, street-legal 150cc moped for daily commuting and city riding — without the weight, complexity, or cost of a full-size motorcycle. The Bali runs a 150cc 4-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine through a CVT automatic transmission: no clutch to manage, no gears to shift. It is EPA and DOT certified, making it street-legal in 48 U.S. states. At $929.95, it competes directly against the Comp. A — but it ships with 10-inch aluminum alloy wheels, a hydraulic front disc brake, and a 330 lb max load capacity where the competition comes up short.

The aluminum alloy wheel upgrade is the first thing a rider notices in the spec comparison. Aluminum reduces unsprung weight — the portion of the vehicle not supported by the suspension — which translates to smoother ride quality over city pavement, sharper cornering feedback, and longer corrosion resistance than steel rims. At this price point, steel rims are the competitor standard. The Bali ships aluminum, standard.

The 150cc engine delivers 8.16 HP and a top speed of 47 MPH — capable of keeping pace with city traffic and suburban roads. The hydraulic front disc brake provides confident, progressive stopping power at speed; the rear drum handles smooth deceleration. A complete street-legal safety package is included: headlight, LED tail light, turn signals, horn, kill switch, and speedometer. Maximum load capacity is 330 lb — compared to approximately 270 lb on competing Comp. A mopeds. The dual-start system (electric push-button and kick-start backup) means you are never stranded by a low battery.

Available in five colors: Black, Blue, Red, Orange, and White.

The Bali 150 is EPA and DOT certified for street-legal operation in 48 U.S. states. IMPORTANT: This vehicle is NOT CARB certified — it cannot be legally sold, titled, registered, or operated in California. A valid driver's license or motorcycle endorsement is required for public road use — requirements vary by state; most states require a Class M license or moped endorsement. Not designed for highway use. Check local speed limit regulations before riding.

X-PRO has operated in the U.S. powersports market for over 20 years as a licensed motorcycle dealer. When you buy the Bali 150, you are buying from a dealer with two company-owned warehouses in California and Texas, a dedicated U.S.-based support team, and full OEM replacement parts stocked before the vehicle goes on sale. Frame warranty: 1 year. Parts warranty: 90 days. Support is handled in-house — not routed to an overseas contact form.

Before You Buy

1 · Stay Connected — We Need to Reach You

After your order ships, our team will contact you by phone and email to coordinate delivery. Answer calls from unfamiliar numbers — our team and your carrier may call from numbers you don't recognize. Check your email daily, including your spam folder, until your vehicle arrives. Without a valid, reachable contact number, your carrier cannot complete delivery. If we cannot reach you, your order may be returned at your expense.

2 · Shipping & Delivery — LTL Freight

Your vehicle ships via LTL (Less-than-Truckload) freight from our U.S. warehouse. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment — make sure your contact information is current. Large freight trucks cannot enter narrow roads or tight residential areas. You must meet the driver at an accessible point, or arrange terminal pickup if needed. Inspect the vehicle carefully before signing the delivery receipt. If damage is found, note it on the receipt and contact us immediately with photos.

3 · Assembly & Setup

Professional mechanic assembly is highly recommended. Improper DIY assembly voids safety guarantees and can lead to mechanical failure — incorrect assembly is one of the leading causes of early issues with new vehicles. Regardless of who assembles it, you must tighten all bolts and apply thread-locker (Loctite) before the first ride. Vibration will loosen factory settings during use, causing parts to fall off or break. This is a required pre-ride step, not a defect.

4 · Engine Maintenance — Gas Models

Change the engine oil before your first ride — factory fill is a break-in oil not suitable for extended use. Skipping this step is the leading cause of engine seizure on new vehicles. Use fresh 87+ octane fuel only. Do not use high-pressure washers near engine or electrical components. Drain fuel for long-term storage. Store in a dry area.

5 · Real-World Performance

Top speed and power output are measured under optimal lab conditions. Actual performance varies based on rider weight, terrain type, road conditions, and ambient temperature. Fuel quality also affects performance — always use 87+ octane fresh gasoline. Riders above 200 lb may notice a reduction in top speed. Do not expect maximum rated performance in all real-world riding conditions.

6 · Storage

For long-term storage (30 days or more), drain the fuel tank and run the carburetor dry — do not store with old fuel as it will gum the carburetor and jets. Disconnect the 12V starter battery if storing for more than 60 days to prevent discharge. Store the vehicle indoors in a dry, temperature-stable environment, covered to protect from dust. Before returning to service after extended storage, inspect all bolts, tire pressure, brake function, and battery charge level.

7 · Safety & Rider Requirements

This vehicle is designed for riders age 16 and older. A valid driver's license or motorcycle endorsement is required to operate this vehicle on public roads — requirements vary by state; most states require a Class M license. IMPORTANT: This vehicle is NOT CARB certified and cannot be legally sold, registered, or operated in California. Always wear a properly fitted, approved helmet and appropriate protective gear — helmet is not included. Maximum weight capacity must not be exceeded. Not designed for highway use unless local regulations permit.

8 · Break-in Period

We recommend a break-in period for the first 3–5 hours of riding. During this period, avoid sustained full-throttle operation and vary your speed to allow the engine and drivetrain components to seat properly. After break-in, perform an oil change and re-inspect and re-tighten all bolts. A properly completed break-in reduces early wear and extends the vehicle's service life.

FAQ
Can this moped be sold or registered in California?
No. The X-PRO Bali 150 is not CARB (California Air Resources Board) certified and cannot be legally sold, titled, or operated in California. It is EPA and DOT approved for use in the other 48 contiguous U.S. states.
Do I need a motorcycle license to ride the Bali 150?
Yes, in most U.S. states a motorcycle endorsement or motorcycle license is required to operate a 150cc moped on public roads. Licensing requirements vary by state — some states require a full motorcycle license, while others offer a moped or scooter endorsement. We strongly recommend checking your local DMV regulations before riding.
What is the top speed of the Bali 150?
The Bali 150 has a top speed of approximately 47 MPH under typical riding conditions. Actual speed may vary depending on rider weight, road conditions, terrain, and wind. It is suitable for city streets and roads with speed limits up to 40 MPH.
What warranty does the Bali 150 come with?
The X-PRO Bali 150 comes with a Limited Warranty: 1 Year on the frame for structural defects, and 90 Days on non-wear parts for manufacturing defects. Battery is covered for 90 Days. Wear items (tires, brake pads, belts, bulbs) and damage from accidents, misuse, or unauthorized modifications are not covered. Full warranty details are available at xprousa.com/pages/warranty-policy.
How difficult is assembly? What tools do I need?
The Bali 150 ships 85% pre-assembled. You will need to install the front wheel (intermediate difficulty — align the brake caliper and axle carefully), attach the rearview mirrors, rear rack, and rear fender, connect the front panel wiring, and connect the battery. Typical assembly time is 45–60 minutes with basic hand tools (wrench set, screwdrivers, hex keys). A step-by-step installation video is available — search 'X-PRO Bali 150 Assembly Guide' on YouTube.
What type of oil and fuel does this moped require?
Use 10W-40 4-stroke motorcycle oil (non-synthetic recommended for break-in period). After the initial 300-mile break-in period, perform your first oil change. For fuel, use regular unleaded gasoline (87 octane minimum, 93 octane recommended per the owner's manual). Do not use 2-stroke oil or E85 ethanol blends.
What is the maximum weight capacity?
The Bali 150 has a maximum load capacity of 330 lbs (approximately 150 kg). This includes the rider's weight plus any cargo. Do not exceed this limit to ensure safe operation and to protect the frame and mechanical components.
Is the Bali 150 suitable for highway riding?
No, the Bali 150 is not recommended for highway use. With a top speed of 47 MPH, it cannot safely maintain highway speeds (typically 55–70 MPH minimum). It is designed for city streets, suburban roads, and campus environments with speed limits up to 40 MPH.
How fuel-efficient is this moped?
The 150cc 4-stroke air-cooled engine is highly fuel-efficient. Riders can expect approximately 70–90 MPG under normal riding conditions, though actual fuel economy will vary based on rider weight, speed, terrain, and riding habits. The 4.7L (approximately 1.24 gallon) fuel tank provides an estimated range of 85–115 miles per fill-up.
How do I open the under-seat storage compartment?
The seat storage compartment is opened using the ignition key. Insert the key into the keyhole located at the front of the moped (not the main ignition keyhole), then turn the key counterclockwise WITHOUT pressing it in. The seat will then release. Your owner's manual and spare parts are stored inside the seat compartment when the moped arrives.
When will I receive the title and registration documents (MSO)?
The Manufacturer Statement of Origin (MSO) and Bill of Sale paperwork are mailed to you separately via USPS after your scooter ships. Please do NOT attempt to title or register the vehicle before receiving the package and inspecting it. If you have not received your documents within 2–3 weeks of delivery, please contact us directly.
Are replacement parts available if something breaks?
Yes. X-PRO maintains OEM replacement parts inventory in U.S. warehouses located in California and Texas. Parts can be ordered through xprousa.com/collections/parts-by-bikes or by contacting our U.S.-based customer support team by phone or email. Most common maintenance parts (belts, brake pads, filters, spark plugs) are readily available.
What safety gear should I wear?
We strongly recommend wearing a DOT-approved full-face or half-face helmet at all times. Additional recommended gear includes gloves, a riding jacket with protective padding, long pants, and closed-toe shoes or motorcycle boots. A helmet is not included with your purchase and must be acquired separately.
Can two people ride this moped at the same time?
The Bali 150 is designed as a single-rider vehicle. It is not rated or configured for two-up (passenger) riding. Carrying a passenger could exceed the maximum load capacity and compromise handling and braking performance. Always ride solo on this moped.
My moped won't start out of the box — what should I check first?
First, do not panic — this is a known issue for some units after trans-ocean shipping. Check the following in order: (1) Verify the fuel valve is open and the gas tank has fuel. (2) Check for any kinked or pinched fuel lines near the carburetor and straighten them. (3) Connect the battery terminals properly (red = positive, black = negative). (4) Ensure the kill switch on the handlebar is in the RUN position (not the STOP position). (5) Try the kick start 3–5 times if electric start fails. If the issue persists, contact X-PRO customer support for a video call with a technician — our team can diagnose most issues remotely.
