14" Aluminum Alloy Tubeless Wheels — Industry-Rare Wheel Size in the 150cc Carburetor Scooter Class at This Price
The Capri 150 ships standard with 14-inch aluminum alloy wheels on tubeless 80/90-14 (front) and 90/90-14 (rear) tires. Most competing 150cc carburetor scooters at this price ship with 10-, 12-, or 13-inch wheels. Larger wheels roll over expansion joints and small road imperfections with less harshness, hold their line in crosswinds at the higher end of city speeds, and give a more planted, motorcycle-like feel under braking.
149.6cc 4-Stroke GY6 Engine with CVT Automatic Twist-and-Go — 55+ MPH Top Speed Without Clutch or Gear Shifting
The Capri 150 runs the proven 149.6cc air-cooled GY6 platform through a CVT automatic transmission. Twist the throttle and the centrifugal clutch and belt-driven CVT handle every speed change. Top speed reaches 55+ MPH depending on rider weight and road grade — enough to keep pace with 45 MPH suburban roads, not just neighborhood streets.
All-LED Lighting + Dual-Start (Electric + Kick) — Better Night Visibility, Never Stranded by a Drained Battery
Headlight, tail light, and turn signals are all LED — instant brightness, no halogen warm-up, no bulb-replacement maintenance over the life of the scooter. The dual-start system pairs an electric push-button starter with an independent kick-start backup so a drained 12V battery on a cold morning does not strand you. Each system operates separately — redundancy is built in.
6.7L Fuel Tank — Among the Largest in the 150cc Carburetor Scooter Category, Fewer Fuel Stops
The Capri's 6.7L (1.77 gal) fuel tank delivers roughly 18–34% more capacity than typical 5.0–5.7L tanks on competing 150cc carburetor scooters in the same price range. That translates to fewer gas-station stops on daily commutes and a longer realistic range on weekend rides where fuel stations are farther apart.
Rider Fit Guide
| Recommended Age | 18 and older (motorcycle license / M-class endorsement required in most U.S. states) |
|---|---|
| Recommended Height | 5'0" to 6'4" (152–193 cm) |
| Maximum Weight Capacity | 330 lb total (rider + cargo, approx. 150 kg) |
| Suitable Riding Environments | City streets, suburban roads, neighborhood and campus areas — on-road street-legal use in 48 states (not California) |
We built the Capri 150 for adult daily commuters who want a 150cc moped that goes beyond the typical neighborhood-only 50cc — but without paying the premium of an EFI-equipped or larger-displacement scooter. The 149.6cc GY6 engine and CVT automatic deliver 55+ MPH top speed for keeping pace with 45 MPH suburban traffic. The 330 lb total load capacity supports rider plus a backpack or grocery bag. At 31.5 inches seat height, riders from 5'0" to 6'4" sit comfortably. Not available in California.
For California residents — this vehicle is NOT CARB certified and cannot be legally sold, titled, or operated in California. For riders without a motorcycle license. For Teens without a license — not suitable for unsupervised teen riders; a valid driver's license is required. For Kids — adults only. For sustained highway use above 60 MPH. For riders who need EFI cold-weather reliability without carburetor service — consider X-PRO Tank 200 EFI or Tinian 200 EFI.

Description
Layer 1 — Product Definition, Target Rider & Core Value
We designed the X-PRO Capri 150 for adult riders who want a capable, street-legal 150cc moped scooter for daily commuting and short-trip transportation — without paying the premium asked by EFI-equipped or larger-displacement scooters. The Capri runs a 149.6cc 4-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder GY6 engine through a CVT automatic transmission: no clutch, no gear shifting. It is EPA certified and DOT approved for street-legal use in 48 U.S. states. At $1,109.95, it competes directly against the major 150cc carburetor moped category — but with industry-rare 14-inch aluminum alloy wheels, dual electric and kick start, all-LED lighting, and a 6.7L fuel tank that is among the largest in its price tier.
Layer 2 — Riding Experience, Differentiation & Performance
The 14-inch aluminum alloy wheels are the first thing a rider notices on the road. Where most 150cc carburetor scooters at this price ship with 10-, 12-, or 13-inch wheels, the Capri rolls on 14" front and rear — fitted with tubeless 80/90-14 and 90/90-14 tires. Larger wheels roll over expansion joints and small road imperfections with less harshness, stay more planted at the higher end of city speeds, and give a more motorcycle-like feel under braking. The tubeless construction also avoids the immediate flat that an inner tube would cause from a small puncture. The 149.6cc engine delivers 7.0 kW (approximately 9.4 HP) at 7,500 rpm and a top speed of 55+ MPH — enough to keep pace with 45 MPH suburban routes, not just neighborhood streets. The CVT automatic handles every speed change. A hydraulic front disc brake combined with a rear drum brake and an engine kill switch covers stopping and emergency cutoff at street speeds. Headlight, tail light, and turn signals are all LED — instant brightness, no warm-up, no bulb-replacement maintenance over the bike's life. The dual-start system pairs an electric push-button starter with a kick-start backup so a drained 12V battery on a cold morning does not leave you stranded. The 6.7L (1.77 gal) fuel tank is among the largest in the 150cc carburetor scooter category — roughly 18–34% more capacity than typical 5.0–5.7L tanks on competing scooters in the same price range. Fewer fuel stops on a daily commute. Available in four color combinations: Black/Red, Blue/Blue, Red/Red, and White/Orange.
Layer 2b — Street Legal Status & Compliance
The Capri 150 is EPA certified and DOT approved for street-legal operation in 48 U.S. states. IMPORTANT: This vehicle is NOT CARB certified — it cannot be legally sold, titled, registered, or operated in California. A valid driver's license is required for public road use — most U.S. states classify a 149.6cc engine capable of 55+ MPH as a motorcycle requiring a Class M license or motorcycle endorsement. Check your state DMV before riding. Not designed for sustained highway use above 60 MPH.
Layer 3 — Brand Trust & After-Sales Commitment
X-PRO has operated in the U.S. powersports market for over 20 years as a licensed motorcycle dealer. When you buy the Capri 150, you are buying from a dealer with two company-owned warehouses in California and Texas, a dedicated U.S.-based support team, and full OEM replacement parts stocked before the vehicle goes on sale. Frame warranty: 1 year. Parts and battery warranty: 90 days. Support is handled in-house — not routed to an overseas contact form. A basic tool kit is included with the scooter — uncommon at this price.

Why Buy From Us
Company History
The company behind X-Pro has been operating in the U.S. motorcycle and powersports market for over 20 years. We are a licensed U.S. motorcycle dealer, not a dropshipper or a temporary marketplace seller. Our operations include product sourcing, compliance review, warehousing, fulfillment, after-sales support, and a dedicated parts inventory — all managed in-house from the United States.
The X-Pro Brand
X-Pro was established in 2018 as a dedicated powersports brand, built on over two decades of hands-on experience in the U.S. motorcycle and powersports market. The product line includes mopeds, scooters, dirt bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, go-karts, and electric powersports vehicles — all sold with full dealer backing.
Why Riders and Families Choose X-Pro
For some buyers, X-Pro is a practical first bike — a more manageable way to start riding without overcommitting on cost. For others, it is a way to get back into powersports without the higher purchase price and repair anxiety that often come with premium-brand machines. For riders who already own more expensive bikes, X-Pro can be the machine they are more willing to ride often, maintain practically, and use without turning every drop or scratch into a major financial event.
Warehouses & Fulfillment
We operate two company-owned warehouses — one in California and one in Texas. These are not third-party logistics (3PL) facilities; they are staffed and managed by our own team. Inventory is stored, quality-checked, and shipped directly from these locations, giving us control over packaging, inspection, and delivery timelines across the continental United States.
After-Sales & Warranty
Every complete unit is backed by a manufacturer warranty. Warranty claims and support requests are handled by our U.S.-based team — customers contact us directly through our website or marketplace messaging, and our team has access to inventory systems, warehouse operations, and product records to resolve issues efficiently.
Parts Availability
We maintain a full replacement parts inventory at our U.S. warehouses. Parts are stocked before vehicles are listed — not ordered from overseas after a customer reports an issue. Parts orders ship from the same facilities that handle complete units.
Team
Our team includes warehouse staff, customer support representatives, and technical specialists — all U.S.-based. When you contact us, you reach someone with direct access to our inventory, our warehouse, and your order records.

Before You Buy
1 · Stay Connected — We Need to Reach You
After your order ships, our team will contact you by phone and email to coordinate delivery. Answer calls from unfamiliar numbers — our team and your carrier may call from numbers you don't recognize. Check your email daily, including your spam folder, until your vehicle arrives. Without a valid, reachable contact number, your carrier cannot complete delivery. If we cannot reach you, your order may be returned at your expense.
2 · Shipping & Delivery — LTL Freight
Your vehicle ships via LTL (Less-than-Truckload) freight from our U.S. warehouse. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment — make sure your contact information is current. Large freight trucks cannot enter narrow roads or tight residential areas. You must meet the driver at an accessible point, or arrange terminal pickup if needed. Inspect the vehicle carefully before signing the delivery receipt. If damage is found, note it on the receipt and contact us within 24 hours with photos.
3 · Assembly & Setup
Professional mechanic assembly is highly recommended. Improper DIY assembly voids safety guarantees and can lead to mechanical failure — incorrect assembly is one of the leading causes of early issues with new vehicles. Regardless of who assembles it, you must tighten all bolts and apply thread-locker (Loctite) before the first ride. Vibration will loosen factory settings during use, causing parts to fall off or break. This is a required pre-ride step, not a defect. A basic tool kit is included in the box.
4 · Engine Maintenance — Gas Models
Change the engine oil before your first ride — factory fill is a break-in oil not suitable for extended use. Skipping this step is the leading cause of engine seizure on new vehicles. Use fresh 87+ octane fuel only. Do not use high-pressure washers near engine or electrical components. Drain fuel for long-term storage. Store in a dry area.
5 · Real-World Performance
Top speed and power output are measured under optimal lab conditions. Actual performance varies based on rider weight, terrain type, road conditions, and ambient temperature. Fuel quality also affects performance — always use 87+ octane fresh gasoline. Riders above 200 lb may notice a reduction in top speed. Do not expect maximum rated performance in all real-world riding conditions.
6 · Storage
For long-term storage (30 days or more), drain the fuel tank and run the carburetor dry — do not store with old fuel as it will gum the carburetor and jets. Disconnect the 12V starter battery if storing for more than 60 days to prevent discharge. Store the vehicle indoors in a dry, temperature-stable environment, covered to protect from dust. Before returning to service after extended storage, inspect all bolts, tire pressure, brake function, and battery charge level.
7 · Safety & Rider Requirements
This vehicle is designed for riders age 18 and older. A valid driver's license or motorcycle endorsement is required to operate this vehicle on public roads — most U.S. states classify a 149.6cc engine capable of 55+ MPH as a motorcycle requiring a Class M license. IMPORTANT: This vehicle is NOT CARB certified and cannot be legally sold, titled, registered, or operated in California. Always wear a properly fitted, approved helmet and appropriate protective gear — helmet is not included. Maximum total load capacity (rider + cargo) is 330 lb — do not exceed. Not designed for sustained highway use above 60 MPH.
8 · Break-in Period
We recommend a break-in period for the first 3–5 hours of riding (approximately 200–300 miles). During this period, avoid sustained full-throttle operation and vary your speed to allow the engine and drivetrain components to seat properly. After break-in, perform an oil change and re-inspect and re-tighten all bolts. A properly completed break-in reduces early wear and extends the vehicle's service life.
