10-Inch Aluminum Alloy Wheels — Premium Hardware at an Accessible Price
The Bora 50 is fitted with 10-inch aluminum alloy rims where most 50cc scooters at this price point use heavier steel wheels. Aluminum alloy construction reduces unsprung weight, improving fuel efficiency and handling feel. The corrosion-resistant finish maintains appearance over time, eliminating the rust risk common with steel rims in wet-weather riding conditions.
CVT Fully Automatic Transmission — Zero Learning Curve from Day One
The Bora 50's continuously variable transmission eliminates all clutch and gear-shifting complexity. Power delivery is smooth and linear from idle to top speed — the transmission manages everything automatically. Electric start provides instant, reliable ignition. Kick start backup ensures you can always get going regardless of battery state.
Front Hydraulic Disc Brake + EPA & DOT Street Certification
The front hydraulic disc brake delivers consistent, reliable stopping in city traffic and emergency braking scenarios. EPA emission certification and full DOT approval make the Bora 50 street legal for on-road registration in most U.S. states. Most states require only a standard driver's license to operate a 50cc moped — check your local DMV for specifics.
GY6 49.5cc Engine — Nationwide Service Network Coverage
The Xinba GY6 engine platform is one of the most widely deployed scooter engine systems in the United States. The vast majority of motorcycle and small engine mechanics are familiar with GY6 maintenance, diagnostics, and repair — riders aren't dependent on brand-specific service centers. OEM Bora 50 replacement parts are stocked at our U.S. warehouses in California and Texas.

The Bora 50 is built for adult city commuters and college students who want a practical, fuel-efficient, street-legal moped for daily transportation. CVT automatic operation requires only throttle control — no prior riding experience necessary. It is well suited for riders 5'0" and taller who benefit from the 29.6-inch seat height for comfortable upright positioning.
Also a strong fit for budget-conscious riders who want aluminum alloy wheels and front disc brake hardware at a sub-$900 price point, and for female riders or new scooter owners looking for a low-barrier, easy-to-maneuver street-legal platform.

Description
The X-PRO Bora 50 — Built for Street-Legal Daily Commuting
We designed the X-PRO Bora 50 for riders who want a reliable, street-legal 49.5cc gas moped for daily commuting without overspending on features they don't need. CVT fully automatic transmission means no clutch, no gear shifts — just twist the throttle and go. The Bora 50 delivers the essentials of street-legal moped ownership — EPA and DOT certification, aluminum alloy wheels, front disc brake, and GY6 engine serviceability — in a package that commuters, college students, and casual riders can afford to buy, maintain, and ride every day.
Aluminum Alloy Wheels — A Feature Most Miss at This Price
Most 50cc scooters in this price range come with heavier steel wheels. We fitted the Bora 50 with 10-inch aluminum alloy rims — lighter for better fuel efficiency and handling, corrosion-resistant for lasting durability, and more refined in appearance. The 29.6-inch seat height, 2.6 inches taller than the 27-inch standard on most 50cc competitors, gives medium-to-tall riders (5'0" and up) a more comfortable, upright riding position on city streets and campus routes.
GY6 Engine — Widest Service Coverage of Any 50cc Platform
The Bora 50 runs a Xinba GY6 49.5cc 4-stroke engine, one of the most widely deployed scooter engine platforms in the United States. Mechanics nationwide are familiar with GY6 maintenance and repair. Parts are available through the GY6 ecosystem, and we stock OEM Bora 50 components at our warehouses in California and Texas — ready to ship when you need them. The CDI ignition, PD19J carburetor, and belt final drive are well-documented across the service community.
What the Bora 50 Is — and Is Not
The Bora 50 is a street-registered, EPA and DOT certified moped designed for city streets, neighborhood roads, and campus commuting. It is not an off-road vehicle. Maximum load capacity is 220 lbs. This vehicle does not meet California Air Resources Board (CARB) emission standards and is not for sale or use in the state of California.
U.S. Dealer Backing with Real Parts Availability
Every X-PRO Bora 50 is backed by our manufacturer warranty — 1-year frame coverage, 90-day parts warranty — handled by our U.S.-based team. We operate two company-owned warehouses in California and Texas with OEM Bora 50 and GY6 parts in stock. When you need service, you reach a team with direct access to your order, our inventory, and our warehouse. We are not a dropshipper or temporary marketplace seller.

Why Buy From Us
The company behind X-Pro has been operating in the U.S. motorcycle and powersports market for over 20 years. We are a licensed U.S. motorcycle dealer, not a dropshipper or a temporary marketplace seller. Our operations include product sourcing, compliance review, warehousing, fulfillment, after-sales support, and a dedicated parts inventory — all managed in-house from the United States.
X-Pro was established in 2018 as a dedicated powersports brand, built on over two decades of hands-on experience in the U.S. motorcycle and powersports market. The product line includes mopeds, scooters, dirt bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, go-karts, and electric powersports vehicles — all sold with full dealer backing.
For some buyers, X-Pro is a practical first bike — a more manageable way to start riding without overcommitting on cost. For others, it is a way to get back into powersports without the higher purchase price and repair anxiety that often come with premium-brand machines. For riders who already own more expensive bikes, X-Pro can be the machine they are more willing to ride often, maintain practically, and use without turning every drop or scratch into a major financial event.
This is what X-Pro is built on: Accessible — a more practical entry point into riding and ownership. Supported — real parts availability and U.S.-based after-sales support. Accountable — dealer-backed operations with local warehousing and direct responsibility.
We operate two company-owned warehouses — one in California and one in Texas. These are not third-party logistics (3PL) facilities; they are staffed and managed by our own team. Every complete unit is backed by a manufacturer warranty. Warranty claims and support requests are handled by our U.S.-based team. We maintain a full replacement parts inventory at our U.S. warehouses — parts are stocked before vehicles are listed, not ordered from overseas after a customer reports an issue.

Before You Buy
1 · Stay Connected — We Need to Reach You
After your order ships, our team will contact you by phone and email to coordinate delivery. Answer calls from unfamiliar numbers — our team and your carrier may call from numbers you don't recognize. Check your email daily, including your spam folder, until your vehicle arrives. Without a valid, reachable contact number, your carrier cannot complete delivery. If we cannot reach you, your order may be returned at your expense.
2 · Shipping & Delivery — LTL Freight
Your vehicle ships via LTL (Less-than-Truckload) freight from our U.S. warehouse. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment — make sure your contact information is current. Large freight trucks cannot enter narrow roads or tight residential areas. You must meet the driver at an accessible point, or arrange terminal pickup if needed. Inspect the vehicle carefully before signing the delivery receipt. If damage is found, note it on the receipt and contact us immediately with photos.
3 · Assembly & Setup
Professional mechanic assembly is highly recommended. Improper DIY assembly voids safety guarantees and can lead to mechanical failure — incorrect assembly is one of the leading causes of early issues with new vehicles. Regardless of who assembles it, you must tighten all bolts and apply thread-locker (Loctite) before the first ride. Vibration will loosen factory settings during use, causing parts to fall off or break. This is a required pre-ride step, not a defect.
4 · Engine Maintenance — Change Oil Before First Ride
Change the engine oil before your first ride — factory fill is a break-in oil not suitable for extended use. Skipping this step is the leading cause of engine seizure on new vehicles. Use fresh 87+ octane fuel only. Do not use high-pressure washers near engine or electrical components. Drain fuel for long-term storage. Store in a dry area.
5 · Real-World Performance
Top speed and power output are measured under optimal lab conditions. Actual performance varies based on rider weight, terrain type, incline, fuel grade, and ambient temperature. Do not expect lab-rated results in all real-world riding conditions.
6 · Storage
For long-term storage (30 days or more), drain the fuel tank before storing to prevent carburetor varnishing. Store the vehicle indoors in a dry, temperature-stable environment. Cover the vehicle to protect it from dust. Before returning to service after extended storage, inspect all bolts, tire pressure, brake function, and battery charge level. Reconnect the battery and prime the carburetor before attempting to start.
7 · Safety & Rider Requirements
This vehicle is designed for riders age 16 and older. Check your local DMV for 50cc moped/scooter license and registration requirements — most U.S. states require only a standard driver's license. Always wear a properly fitted, approved helmet and full protective gear — helmet is not included. Maximum weight capacity must not be exceeded (220 lbs). This vehicle is EPA and DOT certified for street use in most U.S. states. This vehicle does not meet California Air Resources Board (CARB) emission standards and is not for sale or use in the state of California.
8 · Break-in Period
We recommend a break-in period for the first 3–5 hours of riding. During this period, avoid sustained full-throttle operation and allow the engine and drivetrain components to seat properly. Use lower throttle settings during break-in. After break-in, re-inspect and re-tighten all bolts. A properly completed break-in reduces early wear and extends the vehicle's service life.
