Fully Automatic Transmission with Reverse — X-PRO Hawk 125

Fully Automatic Transmission with Reverse — Easy to Ride, Easy to Reverse

The Hawk 125 runs a Guangyu 119.6cc air-cooled 4-stroke engine producing 5.3 kW at 7500 rpm, paired with a fully automatic Drive-Neutral-Reverse transmission. No clutch, no manual shifting — a beginner-friendly powertrain for first-time teen riders. The reverse gear makes backyard maneuvering and tight-trail turnarounds simple even for riders with no prior ATV experience.

For a first-time teen rider, removing the cognitive load of clutch and shifting lets them focus entirely on steering, throttle, and braking — the three skills that build safe riding habits. Reverse turns a multi-point turn into a one-press operation.
3-Layer Parental Safety System — Remote Kill Switch, Speed Limiter, Engine Kill Switch — X-PRO Hawk 125

3-Layer Parental Safety System — Remote Kill Switch + Speed Limiter + Engine Kill Switch

The Hawk 125 ships with three independent hardware safety controls: a wireless remote kill switch that stops the engine from a distance — no physical contact required; an adjustable speed limiter (throttle governor) that caps top speed at any beginner-friendly setting; and a handlebar-mounted engine kill switch that the rider can activate in any emergency. All three operate independently — the failure or non-use of one does not disable the others. Most competing 125cc youth ATVs at this price include at most one of these three controls.

Three independent layers means a parent has control before the ride starts (speed limiter set), during the ride (remote kill from a distance), and the rider has emergency stop access at all times (handlebar kill). Hardware-enforced safety that does not depend on the rider following instructions.
Bigger Frame 59.8" × 37" Wider Stance Big 19/18 Tires 198 lbs Max Load — X-PRO Hawk 125

Bigger Frame, Wider Stance — 59.8" × 37", 19"/18" Tires, 198 lbs Max Load

The Hawk 125 is built on a 37-inch-wide steel frame — wider than the narrower entry-level 125cc ATVs — with big 19x7-8 front and 18x9.5-8 rear tubeless knobby tires. The wider stance provides a more planted, stable base for riders on uneven terrain. At 198 lbs maximum load capacity, the Hawk 125 supports heavier teens and lightweight adults who need more than the 140–165 lbs capacity of standard youth ATVs.

A wider frame and higher load capacity directly address the most common reason families outgrow a standard 125cc youth ATV: the rider gets bigger. The Hawk 125 is built to last through the growth years without being replaced after one or two seasons.
Front Drum Rear Hydraulic Disc Brake LED Headlights — X-PRO Hawk 125

Front Drum + Rear Hydraulic Disc Brake Combo + LED Headlights — Balanced Stopping Power and Visibility

The Hawk 125 uses a front drum brake and a rear hydraulic disc brake — a configuration that delivers balanced, progressive stopping power suited to the youth-rider weight class. The rear hydraulic disc provides more consistent, responsive braking than a cable-operated drum in the same position. The LED headlight and rear tail light keep the ATV visible at dawn, dusk, and in shaded trail conditions.

Balanced braking means neither wheel locks unexpectedly under hard stops — particularly important for teen riders still developing brake and throttle intuition. LED lighting extends the practical riding window without requiring a separate accessory.

Rider Fit Guide

X-PRO Hawk 125 Rider Fit Guide
Recommended Age 13 years and up (with adult supervision required at all times)
Recommended Height 4'10" to 6'0" (147 to 183 cm)
Maximum Weight Capacity 198 lbs (90 kg) — recommend rider weight at or below 180 lbs for safety margin
Suitable Riding Environments Private land, farms, backyards, and designated OHV (Off-Highway Vehicle) parks — off-road use only

We built the Hawk 125 for teens and lightweight adults who want a 125cc youth ATV with three layers of parental safety control, a wider 37-inch stance, and the carrying capacity to handle riders up to 198 lbs. Best for riders age 13 and up under adult supervision, height 4'10" to 6'0", weighing 198 lbs or less. Families with private land, farms, backyards, or OHV-park access who need an ATV with real parental oversight tools — and teens or lightweight adults who have outgrown the capacity of narrower, lighter-rated 125cc quads — will find the Hawk 125 a strong fit. Nine color options including Tree Camo/Green and Leaf Pink/Pink.

Always ensure the vehicle's engine size, speed rating, and weight capacity are appropriate for the rider's age, size, and experience level.
Visual fit guide is for reference only. Actual fit may vary based on inseam, footwear, riding posture, and suspension sag.

Key Features
Fully Automatic Transmission with Reverse: No Clutch, No Stalling, No Stress — We powered the Hawk 125 with a Guangyu 119.6cc 4-stroke engine and a fully automatic Drive-Neutral-Reverse transmission that eliminates clutch work and manual shifting entirely. An intuitive hand-shifter selects Forward, Neutral, or Reverse — even a first-time teen rider can focus on steering and throttle control from their very first session, not on working a clutch. Reverse makes backyard maneuvering and tight-trail turns effortless at any skill level.
3-Layer Parental Safety System: Remote Kill Switch, Speed Limiter, Engine Kill Switch — We built three independent hardware safety controls into the Hawk 125 because parents need more than one point of intervention on a youth ATV. The wireless remote kill switch stops the engine from a distance. The adjustable speed limiter caps top speed at any beginner-friendly setting. The handlebar engine kill switch is always within the rider's immediate reach. Three layers, each working independently — not a single point of failure if one is not used.
Bigger Frame, Wider Stance: 59.8" Long × 37" Wide, Big 19"/18" Tires, 198 lbs Max Load — We built the Hawk 125 on a 37-inch-wide steel frame — a wider, more planted stance than the narrower entry-level 125cc youth ATVs. The large 19x7-8 front and 18x9.5-8 rear tubeless knobby tires deliver off-road grip across dirt, grass, gravel, and mild mud. At 198 lbs maximum load, the Hawk 125 supports heavier teens and lightweight adults who have outgrown the 140–165 lbs capacity of smaller 125cc quads.
Front Drum + Rear Hydraulic Disc Brake Combo + LED Headlights: Balanced Stopping Power and Visibility — We fitted the Hawk 125 with a front drum brake and a rear hydraulic disc brake for balanced, progressive stopping power suited to the youth-rider weight class. The rear hydraulic disc delivers more consistent braking response than a cable-operated drum in the same position. The LED headlight and rear tail light keep the ATV visible at dawn, dusk, and in shaded trail conditions — practical safety that extends the useful riding window.
Reliable U.S. Support, Ready Parts: As a licensed U.S. motorcycle dealer with 20+ years in business, two company-operated warehouses in California and Texas, and a dedicated local team, we keep full replacement parts in stock and ready to ship — so help is there when you need it.
Description

We designed the X-PRO Hawk 125 for parents and teens who want a 125cc off-road ATV with real parental safety controls, a wider and more stable frame, and the carrying capacity to support riders up to 198 lbs. Built around a Guangyu 119.6cc 4-stroke air-cooled engine and a fully automatic Drive-Neutral-Reverse transmission, the Hawk 125 reaches 35+ mph depending on rider weight and conditions, and runs a 3-layer parental safety system — wireless remote kill switch, adjustable speed limiter, and handlebar engine kill switch — that gives parents hardware-enforced control over both top speed and emergency stopping. Built for riders age 13 and up under adult supervision, with a wider 37-inch stance and big 19"/18" tubeless knobby tires designed to feel planted and stable on private land, farms, backyards, and designated OHV parks.

The three-layer safety system is the Hawk 125's defining feature. Layer 1 — the wireless remote kill switch — stops the engine with one button press from a distance, independent of where the rider's hands are on the throttle. Layer 2 — the adjustable speed limiter (throttle governor) — caps how far the throttle opens, so a brand-new teen can start slow and ramp up as confidence builds. Layer 3 — the handlebar engine kill switch — gives the rider an immediate emergency stop in any situation. All three layers work independently — a parent can hold the remote while the speed limiter is already set, and the rider has the kill switch available at all times.

The Hawk 125 is built on a wider 37-inch steel frame with big 19x7-8 front and 18x9.5-8 rear tubeless knobby tires — a more planted, stable configuration than the narrower entry-level 125cc youth ATVs. Dual A-arm independent front suspension allows each front wheel to react to terrain on its own for smoother, more controlled off-road riding. Front drum and rear hydraulic disc brakes provide balanced stopping power. The 27.5-inch seat height keeps riders planted at a stop. Nine color options — including Tree Camo/Green and Leaf Pink/Pink — make the Hawk 125 one of the most varied color selections in the 125cc youth ATV category.

The Hawk 125 is for off-road use only. It cannot be registered or operated on public roads, highways, or any public property in any U.S. state. Designed for private land, farms, backyards, and designated OHV (Off-Highway Vehicle) areas. Maximum load capacity is 198 lbs. Recommended minimum age is 13, with adult supervision required at all times. This vehicle is EPA-certified but is not CARB-certified and cannot be legally sold or operated in the state of California.

X-PRO has operated in the U.S. powersports market for over 20 years as a licensed motorcycle dealer. When you buy the Hawk 125, you are buying from a dealer with two company-owned warehouses in California and Texas, a U.S.-based support team, and a full OEM replacement parts inventory stocked before the vehicle goes on sale. Frame warranty: 1 year. Parts and battery warranty: 90 days. Support is handled in-house — not routed to an overseas contact form.

Why Buy From Us

Company History

The company behind X-Pro has been operating in the U.S. motorcycle and powersports market for over 20 years. We are a licensed U.S. motorcycle dealer, not a dropshipper or a temporary marketplace seller. Our operations include product sourcing, compliance review, warehousing, fulfillment, after-sales support, and a dedicated parts inventory — all managed in-house from the United States.

The X-Pro Brand

X-Pro was established in 2018 as a dedicated powersports brand, built on over two decades of hands-on experience in the U.S. motorcycle and powersports market. The product line includes mopeds, scooters, dirt bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, go-karts, and electric powersports vehicles — all sold with full dealer backing.

When X-Pro entered the market, the affordable powersports space in the United States was largely defined by short-term sellers offering products with no replacement parts, limited or no after-sales support, and inconsistent quality control. Riders who wanted reliable support had to pay premium prices from established brands. X-Pro was built to bridge that gap.

Why Riders and Families Choose X-Pro

For some buyers, X-Pro is a practical first bike — a more manageable way to start riding without overcommitting on cost. For others, it is a way to get back into powersports without the higher purchase price and repair anxiety that often come with premium-brand machines. For riders who already own more expensive bikes, X-Pro can be the machine they are more willing to ride often, maintain practically, and use without turning every drop or scratch into a major financial event.

And for parents, X-Pro is often the answer to a simple question: how do you give your child the experience of riding — a dirt bike for the backyard, a go-kart for the weekend, an ATV for the family property — without spending several thousand dollars on a brand-name machine they may outgrow in two years? X-Pro makes that gift possible, backed by the same parts availability and warranty support that come with every unit we sell. Always ensure the vehicle's engine size, speed rating, and weight capacity are appropriate for the rider's age, size, and experience level.

This is what X-Pro is built on:

Accessible — a more practical entry point into riding and ownership. Supported — real parts availability and U.S.-based after-sales support. Accountable — dealer-backed operations with local warehousing and direct responsibility.

Warehouses & Fulfillment

We operate two company-owned warehouses — one in California and one in Texas. These are not third-party logistics (3PL) facilities; they are staffed and managed by our own team. Inventory is stored, quality-checked, and shipped directly from these locations, giving us control over packaging, inspection, and delivery timelines across the continental United States.

After-Sales & Warranty

Every complete unit is backed by a manufacturer warranty. Warranty claims and support requests are handled by our U.S.-based team — customers contact us directly through our website or marketplace messaging, and our team has access to inventory systems, warehouse operations, and product records to resolve issues efficiently.

Parts Availability

We maintain a full replacement parts inventory at our U.S. warehouses. Parts are stocked before vehicles are listed — not ordered from overseas after a customer reports an issue. Parts orders ship from the same facilities that handle complete units.

Team

Our team includes warehouse staff, customer support representatives, and technical specialists — all U.S.-based. When you contact us, you reach someone with direct access to our inventory, our warehouse, and your order records.

Before You Buy

1 · Stay Connected — We Need to Reach You

After your order ships, our team will contact you by phone and email to coordinate delivery. Answer calls from unfamiliar numbers — our team and your carrier may call from numbers you don't recognize. Check your email daily, including your spam folder, until your vehicle arrives. Without a valid, reachable contact number, your carrier cannot complete delivery. If we cannot reach you, your order may be returned at your expense.

2 · Shipping & Delivery — LTL Freight

Your Hawk 125 ships via LTL (Less-than-Truckload) freight from our U.S. warehouse. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment — make sure your contact information is current. Large freight trucks cannot enter narrow roads or tight residential areas. You must meet the driver at an accessible point, or arrange terminal pickup if needed. Inspect the vehicle carefully before signing the delivery receipt. If damage is found, note it on the receipt and contact us immediately with photos.

3 · Assembly & Setup

Professional mechanic assembly is highly recommended. Improper DIY assembly voids safety guarantees and can lead to mechanical failure — incorrect assembly is one of the leading causes of early issues with new vehicles. Regardless of who assembles it, you must tighten all bolts and apply thread-locker (Loctite) before the first ride. Vibration will loosen factory settings during use, causing parts to fall off or break. This is a required pre-ride step, not a defect.

4 · Engine Maintenance — Gas Models

Change the engine oil before your first ride — factory fill is a break-in oil not suitable for extended use. Skipping this step is the leading cause of engine seizure on new vehicles. Use fresh 87+ octane fuel only. Do not use high-pressure washers near engine or electrical components. Drain fuel for long-term storage. Store in a dry area.

5 · Real-World Performance

Top speed (35+ mph) and power output are measured under optimal lab conditions. Actual performance varies based on rider weight, terrain type, incline, and ambient temperature. Do not expect lab-rated results in all real-world riding conditions.

6 · Storage

For long-term storage (30 days or more), drain the fuel tank and run the carburetor dry to prevent varnish buildup. Disconnect the starter battery if storing for more than 30 days. Store the vehicle indoors in a dry, temperature-stable environment. Cover the vehicle to protect it from dust. Before returning the vehicle to service after extended storage, inspect all bolts, tire pressure, brake function, and refill with fresh oil and fuel.

7 · Safety & Rider Requirements

This vehicle is designed for riders age 13 and older. Riders under 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times — and the supervising adult should keep the wireless remote kill switch within reach. Always wear a properly fitted, DOT-certified helmet plus full protective gear (gloves, long sleeves, long pants, sturdy boots, eye protection) — helmet is not included. Maximum weight capacity is 198 lbs and must not be exceeded. This vehicle is for off-road use only and cannot be registered or operated on public roads, highways, or public property in any U.S. state. This vehicle does not meet California Air Resources Board (CARB) emission standards and is not for sale or use in the state of California.

8 · Break-in Period

We recommend a break-in period for the first 3–5 hours of riding. During this period, avoid sustained full-throttle operation and allow the engine and drivetrain components to seat properly. After break-in, change the engine oil and re-inspect and re-tighten all bolts. A properly completed break-in reduces early wear and extends the vehicle's service life.

Support Center & Resources
FAQ
What does the warranty cover, and what is excluded?
Every X-PRO Hawk 125 is covered by our manufacturer Limited Warranty: 1-year frame warranty against structural defects, 90-day parts warranty against manufacturing defects, and 90-day battery warranty. Normal wear items — tires, brake pads, chain, drive belt, bulbs — and damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications are not covered. View our full warranty policy at xprousa.com/pages/warranty-policy.
How do I submit a warranty claim or request support?
To submit a warranty claim or request support, contact our U.S.-based team through xprousa.com/pages/contact-us by phone, email, or video call. Our team has direct access to inventory systems and your order records. For faster resolution, include your order number, photos of the issue, and a description of what happened.
Can I get replacement parts, and how quickly do they ship?
Yes. We stock full OEM replacement parts for the Hawk 125 in our company-owned warehouses in California and Texas. Parts are stocked before vehicles are listed — not ordered after a problem is reported. Browse and order parts at xprousa.com/collections/parts-by-bikes (search by SKU ATV-P003 / Hawk 125). Domestic shipping from our U.S. warehouses.
What should I do if my vehicle arrives damaged?
If your Hawk 125 arrives with visible damage, take photos immediately before signing or opening the packaging. Note the damage on the delivery receipt. If the damage is severe, refuse delivery and contact our team within 24 hours with photos. For damage discovered after opening, contact us within 48 hours with photos — do not attempt to operate the ATV before reporting the issue.
Do I need to sign for delivery, and what if I miss it?
Your Hawk 125 ships via LTL freight. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. You must be available to receive the delivery — after 3 missed attempts, the item will be returned and you will be responsible for all return freight fees. Inspect the ATV before signing the delivery receipt.
How will you contact me after my order ships?
After your Hawk 125 order ships, our team will contact you by phone and email to coordinate LTL freight delivery. Please answer calls from unfamiliar numbers and check your email daily — including spam — until your ATV arrives.
What happens if you can't reach me during delivery?
If we cannot reach you after multiple contact attempts, your carrier may be unable to complete delivery. After 3 missed delivery attempts, the item will be returned and you will be responsible for all return freight fees. Keeping your contact information current when placing your order is critical.
Is this vehicle street legal?
No. The X-PRO Hawk 125 is for off-road use only and cannot be registered or operated on public roads, highways, or any public property in any U.S. state. It is designed for private land, farms, backyards, and designated OHV (Off-Highway Vehicle) parks. Additionally, this ATV is not CARB-certified and cannot be legally sold or used in California.
What age is this vehicle recommended for, and is supervision required?
The Hawk 125 is recommended for riders age 13 and up. With the speed limiter engaged at low settings, younger teens may be able to ride with direct adult supervision and remote kill switch control. Riders under 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Maximum load capacity is 198 lbs — for safety we recommend rider weight at or below 180 lbs.
Does the vehicle come assembled, or do I need to assemble it?
The Hawk 125 ships 85% pre-assembled. You will need to install the remaining components before riding: 4 wheels (2 front + 2 rear), handlebar, front fender, front bumper, rear cargo rack, rear shock absorber, footrests (×2), and battery connection (Red + first, then Black −).
Can I assemble it myself, or do I need a professional mechanic?
Buyers with basic mechanical experience can complete assembly in approximately 45–60 minutes using common hand tools (wrench, screwdriver) and the included owner's manual plus the official YouTube assembly video. Professional mechanic assembly is highly recommended if you are not comfortable with the wheel install — improper assembly voids safety guarantees. All bolts must be tightened and thread-locker (Loctite) applied before the first ride.
Do I need to change the oil before the first ride?
Yes — change the engine oil before your first ride. The factory fill is a break-in oil not suitable for extended use. Skipping this step is the leading cause of engine seizure on new vehicles. Drain the factory oil, refill with a fresh oil appropriate for 4-stroke air-cooled engines, and recheck oil level before starting.
What type of fuel does this vehicle require?
The Hawk 125 runs on regular gasoline — 87 octane minimum. Do not use diesel or ethanol blends above E10. Use fresh fuel and avoid letting the tank sit for extended periods, as stale fuel can clog the carburetor. Drain the fuel tank and run the carburetor dry before long-term storage.
How do I prepare the vehicle for long-term storage?
Drain the fuel tank and run the carburetor dry to prevent varnish buildup. Disconnect the starter battery if storing for more than 30 days. Store the ATV indoors in a dry, temperature-stable area. Cover to prevent dust accumulation. Before returning to use after extended storage, inspect all bolts, tire pressure, brake function, and refill with fresh oil and fresh fuel.
Is there a break-in period, and what do I need to do during it?
Yes. We recommend a break-in period for the first 3–5 hours of riding. During this period, avoid sustained full-throttle operation and allow the engine and drivetrain components to seat properly. After break-in, change the engine oil again and re-tighten all bolts. A properly completed break-in significantly reduces early wear and extends the ATV's service life.
