168.9cc EFI Fuel-Injected Engine + 56+ MPH Top Speed
The Saipan 200 EFI runs a 168.9cc ECU-controlled Electronic Fuel Injection engine, 8.0 kW power and 11 N·m torque — measurably stronger than the 6.8 kW / 9.3–9.6 N·m typical of competing 168cc EFI scooters (Competitor A through Competitor E). Top speed 56+ MPH (varies with rider weight and road conditions). EFI eliminates carburetor jets, float bowl maintenance and manual choke, while delivering stronger throttle response and reliable cold-weather starting.
73.5 MPG Estimated Fuel Economy + 5 L Fuel Tank
The EFI fuel system delivers an estimated 73.5 MPG. The 5-liter (1.32 gal) fuel tank gives a real-world range of approximately 90 miles per fill at typical commuting speeds — fewer gas stops on a daily commute and meaningfully lower operating cost than driving a car. Fuel economy varies with rider weight, terrain, riding style and conditions.
Fully Automatic CVT, Electric Start, All-LED Lighting
A fully automatic CVT belt drive (no clutch, no gear shifts) paired with push-button electric start and a complete LED lighting package — LED headlight, tail light, turn signals plus DOT-compliant reflectors — makes every trip simple. The LCD digital dashboard, horn, kill switch and hand brake controls round out the rider interface.
14" Alloy Wheels, 49.4" Wheelbase, Telescopic Fork + Hydraulic Rear Shock
The Saipan 200 EFI rides on 14-inch cast-aluminum alloy wheels (80/90-14 front, 90/90-14 rear, tubeless) on a 49.4-inch wheelbase. Most competing 200cc-class moped scooters in this price tier (Competitor B, Competitor C, Competitor D, Competitor E) ship with 12-inch or 13-inch wheels. The larger wheels and longer wheelbase, paired with a telescopic front fork and a hydraulic rear shock absorber, deliver a more planted feel at 45–56 MPH and absorb pavement seams smaller-wheeled scooters skip across.
Rider Fit Guide

The 168.9cc EFI engine delivers 56+ MPH for city streets and suburban roads up to 45–56 MPH speed limits. 331 lb max load fits riders up to about 290 lb plus cargo. The 29.5-inch seat height lets riders from 5'0" to 6'2" plant both feet at a stop. An M-class motorcycle endorsement is required in most states. Registerable in all 50 states, including California.
Riders under 18 or without a valid M-class motorcycle / scooter endorsement in their state. Riders needing sustained interstate / freeway speeds above 60 MPH or long-distance touring. Off-road and trail riders — this is a street-legal scooter, not a dirt bike or dual-sport. Two-up riders carrying a passenger plus cargo regularly above the 331 lb total load limit.

Description
Layer 1 — Product Definition, Target Rider & Core Value
We designed the X-PRO Saipan 200 EFI for adult commuters who want a real 200cc-class moped scooter with three uncompromised pieces — a fuel-injected engine that starts in any weather, full 50-state street-legal certification (including California), and 14" alloy wheels for the kind of highway-speed stability smaller-wheeled commuter scooters struggle to deliver. At its core is a 168.9cc air-cooled 4-stroke ECU-controlled Electronic Fuel Injection engine producing 8.0 kW of power and 11 N·m of torque, paired with a fully automatic CVT belt drive — no clutch, no gear shifts, no carburetor maintenance. EPA, CARB and DOT certified, registerable in all 50 states. Available in Black, Blue, Red and White at $1,499.95.
Layer 2 — Riding Experience, Differentiation & Performance
The EFI advantage is the first thing you notice on a cold morning — push the button, the bike starts. There is no manual choke to remember, no priming routine, no fuel-bowl drain. The ECU adjusts fuel delivery for temperature, humidity and altitude automatically. Carbureted 200cc-class moped scooters (Competitor B, Competitor D) commonly require seasonal jet adjustments and can fail to start in winter. The Saipan 200 EFI does not. The 168.9cc engine delivers 56+ MPH top speed (varies with rider weight and road conditions), well above what city streets and most suburban roads require, and enough overhead for short highway-class segments up to 56 MPH speed limits. Estimated 73.5 MPG fuel economy on the 5-liter (1.32 gal) tank gives a realistic range of about 90 miles per fill at typical commuting speeds. The LCD digital dashboard tracks speed, trip distance and fuel level. The chassis is where the Saipan 200 EFI separates itself: 14-inch cast-aluminum alloy wheels (80/90-14 front, 90/90-14 rear, tubeless) on a 49.4-inch wheelbase, with a telescopic front fork and a hydraulic rear shock absorber. Most competing 200cc moped scooters in this price range run 12-inch or 13-inch wheels (Competitor B, Competitor C, Competitor D, Competitor E). Larger wheels and a longer wheelbase translate to a more planted feel at highway-class speeds and better absorption of pavement seams, expansion joints and broken pavement. The complete street-legal safety package: front disc brake, rear drum brake, all-LED head / tail / turn lighting, DOT-compliant reflectors, horn, kill switch, hand brake and LCD digital speedometer. The full perimeter frame is paired with a black vinyl seat at 29.5 inches — low enough for most riders 5'0" to 6'2" to plant both feet comfortably at a stop. Maximum load capacity is 331 lb (rider plus cargo). The bike includes a built-in rear rack and under-seat storage compartment for a helmet, lock or small parcel.
Layer 2b — Street-Legal Status & Compliance
The Saipan 200 EFI is EPA Certified, CARB Certified and DOT Approved — registerable in all 50 states, including California. Title paperwork (Manufacturer Statement of Origin and Bill of Sale) is mailed via USPS separately from the scooter itself. Take both documents to your state DMV to title and register the vehicle. Because the engine displaces 168.9cc and the scooter is capable of 56+ MPH, most states classify it as a motorcycle and require an M-class motorcycle endorsement (not a moped permit). Check your specific state's DMV rules before riding. A DOT-approved helmet is required for safe riding and is sold separately.
Layer 3 — Brand Trust & After-Sales Commitment
X-PRO has operated in the U.S. powersports market for over 20 years as a licensed motorcycle dealer. The Saipan 200 EFI ships from two X-PRO-owned warehouses in California and Texas, supported by a U.S.-based phone and email customer service team. Full OEM replacement parts are stocked before the vehicle goes on sale — not ordered from overseas after a customer reports an issue. Frame warranty: 1 year. Parts and battery warranty: 90 days — substantially longer than the 30-day reseller-only coverage common on competing 200cc-class scooters sold by third-party Amazon merchants (Competitor A through Competitor E).

Why Buy From Us
Why Buy From Us
Company History
The company behind X-Pro has been operating in the U.S. motorcycle and powersports market for over 20 years. We are a licensed U.S. motorcycle dealer, not a dropshipper or a temporary marketplace seller. Our operations include product sourcing, compliance review, warehousing, fulfillment, after-sales support, and a dedicated parts inventory — all managed in-house from the United States.
The X-Pro Brand
X-Pro was established in 2018 as a dedicated powersports brand, built on over two decades of hands-on experience in the U.S. motorcycle and powersports market. The product line includes mopeds, scooters, dirt bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, go-karts, and electric powersports vehicles — all sold with full dealer backing. When X-Pro entered the market, the affordable powersports space in the United States was largely defined by short-term sellers offering products with no replacement parts, limited or no after-sales support, and inconsistent quality control. Riders who wanted reliable support had to pay premium prices from established brands. X-Pro was built to bridge that gap.
Why Riders and Families Choose X-Pro
For some buyers, X-Pro is a practical first bike — a more manageable way to start riding without overcommitting on cost. For others, it is a way to get back into powersports without the higher purchase price and repair anxiety that often come with premium-brand machines. For riders who already own more expensive bikes, X-Pro can be the machine they are more willing to ride often, maintain practically, and use without turning every drop or scratch into a major financial event.
This is what X-Pro is built on:
Accessible — a more practical entry point into riding and ownership. Supported — real parts availability and U.S.-based after-sales support. Accountable — dealer-backed operations with local warehousing and direct responsibility.
Warehouses & Fulfillment
We operate two company-owned warehouses — one in California and one in Texas. These are not third-party logistics (3PL) facilities; they are staffed and managed by our own team. Inventory is stored, quality-checked, and shipped directly from these locations, giving us control over packaging, inspection, and delivery timelines across the continental United States.
After-Sales & Warranty
Every complete unit is backed by a manufacturer warranty. Warranty claims and support requests are handled by our U.S.-based team — customers contact us directly through our website or marketplace messaging, and our team has access to inventory systems, warehouse operations, and product records to resolve issues efficiently.
Parts Availability
We maintain a full replacement parts inventory at our U.S. warehouses. Parts are stocked before vehicles are listed — not ordered from overseas after a customer reports an issue. Parts orders ship from the same facilities that handle complete units.
Team
Our team includes warehouse staff, customer support representatives, and technical specialists — all U.S.-based. When you contact us, you reach someone with direct access to our inventory, our warehouse, and your order records.

Front wheel installation is intermediate difficulty — align the brake caliper carefully before tightening the axle nut. Refer to the included owner's manual or the YouTube installation video.
Tools Required
Wrench set, screwdrivers (Phillips and flat), and basic hand tools. A torque wrench is recommended for the axle nut and rear shock bolts. Tool kit is NOT included.
Before You Buy
Before You Buy — What to Expect
1 · Stay Connected — We Need to Reach You
After your order ships, our team will contact you by phone and email to coordinate delivery. Answer calls from unfamiliar numbers — our team and your carrier may call from numbers you don't recognize. Check your email daily, including your spam folder, until your scooter arrives. Without a valid, reachable contact number, your carrier cannot complete delivery. If we cannot reach you, your order may be returned at your expense.
2 · Shipping & Delivery — LTL Freight
Your Saipan 200 ships via LTL (Less-than-Truckload) freight from our U.S. warehouse in California or Texas. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment — make sure your contact information is current. Large freight trucks cannot enter narrow roads or tight residential areas. You must meet the driver at an accessible point, or arrange terminal pickup if needed. Inspect the crate carefully before signing the delivery receipt. If damage is found, note it on the receipt and contact us immediately with photos.
3 · Title Paperwork — MSO and Bill of Sale Shipped Separately
The Manufacturer Statement of Origin (MSO) and Bill of Sale are mailed via USPS separately from the scooter itself — do not register or attempt to title the vehicle before receiving and inspecting both documents. If you have not received the paperwork within 2–3 weeks of delivery, contact X-PRO support at xprousa.com/pages/contact-us. Save both documents — they cannot be reissued easily if lost.
4 · Assembly & Setup
The Saipan 200 EFI ships 85% pre-assembled in a reinforced metal crate. Professional mechanic assembly is strongly recommended. Improper DIY assembly voids safety guarantees and can lead to mechanical failure. Regardless of who assembles it, you must tighten all bolts and apply thread-locker (Loctite) before the first ride. Vibration will loosen factory settings during use — this is a required pre-ride step, not a defect.
5 · Engine Maintenance — Gas Models (EFI)
Change the engine oil before your first ride — factory fill is a break-in oil not suitable for extended use. Skipping this step is the leading cause of engine seizure on new scooters. Use 10W-40 4-stroke motorcycle oil and unleaded gasoline (RON 92+ octane) only. Because this is an EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) system, do not pour aftermarket additives or carburetor cleaners into the fuel tank — they can damage the injectors. Fill the tank fully before starting the engine for the first time. Do not use high-pressure washers near engine, ECU or electrical components. Drain fuel for long-term storage.
6 · Real-World Performance
Top speed of 56+ MPH and estimated 73.5 MPG are measured under typical commuting conditions. Actual performance varies based on rider weight, terrain type, road conditions, ambient temperature and fuel quality. Riders near or above the 331 lb max load capacity may notice a reduction in top speed and acceleration. Do not expect maximum rated performance in all real-world riding conditions.
7 · Storage
For long-term storage (30 days or more), drain the fuel tank — even with EFI, old fuel can degrade injector performance. Disconnect the 12V starter battery if storing for more than 60 days to prevent discharge. Store the scooter indoors in a dry, temperature-stable environment, covered to protect from dust. Before returning to service after extended storage, inspect all bolts, tire pressure, brake function and battery charge level.
8 · Safety & Rider Requirements
This scooter is designed for riders age 18 and older. Because the engine displaces 168.9cc and the scooter is capable of 56+ MPH, most states classify it as a motorcycle and require an M-class motorcycle endorsement or motorcycle license to operate it on public roads — check your state DMV. EPA, CARB and DOT certified — registerable in all 50 states including California. Always wear a properly fitted DOT-approved helmet and appropriate protective gear — helmet is not included with the scooter. Maximum weight capacity is 331 lb (rider plus cargo) and must not be exceeded. Top speed of 56+ MPH is not suitable for sustained interstate highway use.
9 · Break-in Period
We recommend a break-in period for the first 3–5 hours (approximately 300 miles) of riding. During this period, avoid sustained full-throttle operation and vary your speed to allow the engine and drivetrain components to seat properly. After break-in, perform an oil change and re-inspect and re-tighten all bolts. A properly completed break-in reduces early wear and extends service life.
