What should I do if my vehicle arrives damaged?
If your vehicle arrives with visible damage, take photos immediately before signing or opening the packaging. Note the damage on the delivery receipt. If the damage is severe, refuse delivery and contact our team within 24 hours with photos. For damage discovered after opening, contact us within 48 hours with photos — do not attempt to operate the vehicle before reporting the issue.
Do I need to sign for delivery, and what if I miss it?
Your Ranger 125 ships via LTL freight. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. You must be available to receive the delivery — after 3 missed attempts, the item will be returned and you will be responsible for all return freight fees. Inspect the vehicle before signing the delivery receipt.
How will you contact me after my order ships?
After your order ships, our team will contact you by phone and email to coordinate delivery. Please answer calls from unfamiliar numbers and check your email daily — including spam — until your vehicle arrives.
What happens if you can't reach me during delivery?
If we cannot reach you after multiple contact attempts, your carrier may be unable to complete delivery. After 3 missed delivery attempts, the item will be returned and you will be responsible for all return freight fees. Keeping your contact information current when placing your order is critical.
Is this vehicle street legal?
No. The X-PRO Ranger 125 is for off-road use only and cannot be registered or operated on public roads, highways, or any public property in any U.S. state. It is designed for private land, farms, and designated off-road riding areas. Additionally, this vehicle is not CARB-certified and cannot be legally sold or used in California.
What age is this vehicle recommended for, and is supervision required?
The Ranger 125 is recommended for riders age 13 and older. Due to its weight (330 lbs), speed (35+ mph), and manual gear transmission, it is not suitable for children 12 and under. Riders under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Maximum load capacity is 350 lbs.
Does the vehicle come assembled, or do I need to assemble it?
The Ranger 125 ships 85% pre-assembled in a protective steel crate. You will need to install the remaining components before riding: 4 wheels, spare tire carrier, spare fuel tank bracket, shift linkage, passenger grab handle, rearview mirrors, rear shock absorbers, steering wheel, windshield, battery, side steps, exhaust pipe, and wheel center caps.
Can I assemble it myself, or do I need a professional mechanic?
Buyers with solid mechanical experience can complete assembly using the included full-color illustrated manual and the official YouTube assembly video. However, professional mechanic assembly is highly recommended — improper assembly voids safety guarantees and is a leading cause of early mechanical issues. Regardless of who assembles it, all bolts must be tightened and thread-locker (Loctite) applied before the first ride.
Do I need to change the oil before the first ride?
Yes — change the engine oil before your first ride. The factory fill is a break-in oil not suitable for extended use. Skipping this step is the leading cause of engine seizure on new vehicles. Drain the factory oil, refill with a fresh oil appropriate for 4-stroke air-cooled engines, and recheck oil level before starting.
What type of fuel does this vehicle require?
The Ranger 125 runs on regular gasoline — 87 octane minimum. Do not use diesel or ethanol blends above E10. Use fresh fuel and avoid letting the tank sit for extended periods, as stale fuel can clog the carburetor. Drain the fuel tank and run the carburetor dry before long-term storage.
How do I prepare the vehicle for long-term storage?
Drain the fuel tank and run the carburetor dry to prevent varnish buildup. Disconnect the starter battery if storing for more than 30 days. Store the vehicle indoors in a dry, temperature-stable area. Cover to prevent dust accumulation. Before returning to use after extended storage, inspect all bolts, tire pressure, brake function, and refill with fresh oil and fresh fuel.
Is there a break-in period, and what do I need to do during it?
Yes. We recommend a break-in period for the first 3–5 hours of riding. During this period, avoid sustained full-throttle operation and allow the engine and drivetrain components to seat properly. After break-in, change the engine oil again and re-tighten all bolts. A properly completed break-in significantly reduces early wear and extends the vehicle's service life.
